We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Instagram messaging management service (ChatPanda).

Instagram Account Information

When you connect your Instagram professional account, we collect:

• Instagram username and user ID
• Instagram business account information
• Access tokens for API authentication

Message Data

To provide our service, we access and store:

• Instagram Direct Messages received by your account
• Message metadata (sender, timestamp, read status)
• Conversation threads

Webhook Events

We receive and temporarily store webhook events from Instagram, which are automatically deleted after 15 days.

We use your information solely to:

• Display your Instagram conversations and messages
• Enable you to reply to messages sent to your Instagram account
• Provide automated response features (if configured)
• Maintain service functionality and security
• Email you about your account and about using the service, as described in the Terms of Service

We do NOT:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Use your data for advertising purposes
• Initiate conversations on your behalf without your explicit action
• Share your data with anyone except as required by law

We retain your data as follows:

• Messages & Conversations: Stored while your account is active
• Webhook Events: Automatically deleted after 15 days
• Access Tokens: Stored securely, revoked upon disconnection

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure database storage
• Access token encryption
• Regular security audits

You have the right to:

• Access your data at any time through the application
• Disconnect your Instagram account at any time
• Request deletion of all your data
• Revoke permissions granted to ChatPanda

You can request deletion of your data in two ways:

1. Through ChatPanda

• Go to Settings and click "Delete Account"
• Or visit our Data Deletion page
• All your data will be immediately deleted

2. Through Facebook/Instagram

• Go to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
• Find ChatPanda and click "Remove"
• Facebook will notify us and we'll delete your data within 30 days

What gets deleted: Your account, Instagram connection tokens, all messages, conversations, webhook events, and any automation settings. This deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

ChatPanda integrates with Instagram (Meta Platforms) to provide messaging functionality. Your use of Instagram is governed by Meta's own privacy policy and terms of service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
